General Information
The PAL Program is Woodland Park School District’s early childhood program. It is intended to provide high quality educational experiences for children ages 3-5 years old. The program encourages your child’s development in an age-appropriate manner and prepares your child for kindergarten.
There is a licensed PAL Program at all three elementary schools. Each program is directed by highly qualified teachers who are trained to educate children of all levels and abilities.
Our Beliefs
Every child begins life with an innate desire to learn.
Every child is capable of learning.
First, a child must have fun and be an active participant. Then and only then, can the most meaningful and memorable lessons be taught.
Our Goal
We want to support and encourage your child’s natural curiosity in an age-appropriate and exciting way to prepare your child for future learning.
Our Philosophy
Our approach to learning is hands-on and provides your child with age-appropriate experiences. We support children while allowing them to lead their own experiences and gain independence and a sense of self. We have an environment that is structured just enough for your child to feel safe to experiment. We stress the importance of play, experience and empowerment.
Hours of Operation Times may vary by elementary school. Columbine class options are:
AM: 7:40-10:40
PM: 11:40-2:40
Classes are Monday through Thursday with no class on Friday. All programs follow the school year calendar.
